Full Day Preschool

The preschool will be a socially and economically integrated early childhood program serving urban and suburban children ages 3-5. Our preschool will operate from 8:50 a.m.-3:00 p.m. daily and is designed specifically to enhance the oral language, literacy, science, and math development of young children while developmentally preparing the children for kindergarten success. The goals of the preschool program are to:

  • Foster developmental and academic growth in an integrated manner that reflects best practices in early childhood education
  • Provide hands-on active discovery aligned to state early childhood standards
  • Provide students with a developmentally appropriate academic experience that will prepare children for later school success
  • Strengthen the magnet school mission by enhancing the educational opportunities and services available to all children and families throughout the CREC region
