ast month, we proudly continued our annual collaboration with The Bushnell Theatre, and once again, it proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for our entire school community. Thanks to the efforts of Mrs. D’Agostino, Mr. Maki, and the specialists team, students across all grades participated in an exciting week of creativity, expression, and hands-on learning.
Throughout the week, visiting artists led a variety of engaging workshops, including:
-
Monday – Artist-led Workshops
-
Tuesday – Energetic Hip Hop sessions
-
Wednesday – “Jewels Not Junk” upcycled art creations
-
Thursday – Fabric crafting with renowned textile artist Edjohnetta Miller
-
Friday – A dynamic school-wide performance featuring student actors, in partnership with The Bushnell
Students explored different art forms, gained confidence, and experienced the power of collaboration through the arts. Whether breakdancing, crafting, or performing, each day offered new ways for students to express themselves and connect with their peers.
We are truly fortunate to have this ongoing partnership with The Bushnell, which continues to bring meaningful, real-world arts experiences into our school. Thank you to everyone who made this week such a success—we look forward to building on this tradition in the years to come.
